Dog has more gumption than I. That pond is well protected by a faction of frogs and bugs that would make any mammal think twice. Besides Poem, I suppose, who is not just any mammal.

Yeah, Poem is a straight ahead being, definitely a Williams Carlos Williams kind of dog but with a Verlaine-like rhyme clanging here and there, now and then.
I wish I could photograph the expressions on her face when she pops up her ears and intently gazes at me, always sincere, but almost away, always her own...her look can fascinate me.
