Marilyn's Hat

MM's Hat
"Here are a couple of pics of the hat I made from your yarn...It is really, really soft and not itchy at all. I think I could also supply you with this pattern, as it is a very old one and I do not think that there would be a copyright on it."
What a great hat, Marilyn! Please send me the pattern along with any notes you might have to inspire knitters to take on more detailed work as you have done so well. I'll post everything to the Fiber Flock, thanks.

I used a size 5 and size 7 needle for this hat. There was not enough yardage in one skein of the natural yarn to finish the hat.
You could possibly make it with one, if you keep the ribbing to a sparce 1 inch and reduce the " 9 inches from beginning" to 8 inches.
It is a very easy pattern to knit, just knit and purl, making a seed stitch at times, and learning to make a bobble, which is easy ( a needle with a sharp point is helpful for a bobble). The yarn was most pleasant to work with.
Good Luck!
