Cezanne

I guess why I keep it up there, being it's not a  sheep photo I like that well, is that its busyness and complemented color remind me of Cezanne  paintings of Mont Sainte-Victoire near his home and studio in Aix, and those studies for the rock-like Les Baigneuses that he did later. 

I like pilgimages and I took the train down to Provence from Paris in the late 70's.  I read that when Cezanne was an old man, boys threw stones at him when he walked along to where he could set up his easel in the countryside.
